Texas A&M Biotechnology Society

The Biotechnology Society allows scientifically literate students to connect with businesses.  We organize social activities, guest lectures, and field trips.  We enable Texas A&M students with biotechnology interests to meet students with similar interests, network for job opportunities, and experience different cultures prevalent in the Biotechnology Department and A&M campus. Biotechnology is a rapidly growing field where industry plays a major role in job opportunities available to students.  Meeting employers provides many opportunities for students in our organization. The Industrial Advisory Committee is an integral part of the Biotechnology Department.  The committee is a resource students use to transition into industry.  Committee members who attend our meetings give us insight and assist with our professional career development.
